Marydale police arrested 2 suspects

The South African Police Service says they arrested 2 men aged 28 and 35 in possession of suspected stolen goods in Marydale yesterday. According to a police statement, the police swiftly pounced on two suspicious males carrying bags. Police spokesperson sergeant Sergio Kock says the estimated value of the stolen stock is R20 000. Kock says bags were searched, and police found sheep carcasses and alleged stock theft tools. He says the suspects are expected to appear at Marydale regional court soon and the investigation continues.
