The Department of Social Development in the Northern Cape shares on their official social media the donation of two brand new vehicles to an old age home caring for 60 older persons in Prieska by the name of Huis Du Pickard. The department says this donation is given to the old age home for being beneficiaries to the new Lotteries funding. Furthermore the department adds that as an initiative of their own and as part of their social responsibility, Toyota Douglas provided the vehicles at a discounted rate which enabled the Board to procure two vehicles instead of the one transport vehicle. The department says that these vehicles can now be used for transporting people to clinics, shopping, and Recreational outings.
