Police received information regarding an alleged meeting to plan robberies in the Kimberley area yesterday, the 17th April 2024. Police spokesperson colonel Cherelle Ehlers says police led the action, the identified residence in Galeshewe was raided and 3 suspects were arrested. Ehlers says the suspects were found in the possession of police uniforms, police rank insignia, police equipment and three illegal firearms. She says the suspects aged 29, 34 and 54 were arrested on charges of possession of suspected stolen goods and illegal possession of firearms. They will appear in court soon.
