Public-Private Partnership Provides Homes for Over 200 Families, Uplifting Communities

Anglo-American Kumba Iron Ore has partnered with the Northern Cape Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements, and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA) recently to provide housing for over 200 families in Kathu, in the Gamagara Municipal district. The mining company says it donated 142 serviced stands and R27 million in electrical infrastructure to the Gamagara Municipality. Emphasizing housing as a fundamental human right.
