Learamile Special School is benificiary of refurbished sporting facilities and newly built vegetable garden

The Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhaule, Northern Cape Education MEC, Zolile Monakali and Correctional Services National Commissioner Makgothi Samuel Thobakgale in partnership with the Road Accident Fund will today lead the handover of a newly built vegetable garden as well as the handover of refurbished sporting facilities to Learamile Special School in Mothibistad, Northern Cape. The handover comes as a result of and gives expression to an existing Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Basic Education and Correctional Services. The MOU seeks to create lasting legacies in schools through the creation of sustainable vegetable gardens. The handover includes  refurbished netball facilities, a soccer field as well as a fruit and vegetable garden which will add more impetus to the school and its delivery of the National School Nutrition Programme.
