MEC Mase Manopole, responsible for Agriculture,
Environmental Affairs, Rural Development and Land Reform in the Northern Cape delivered the keynote
address during the 3rd cohort of Unemployed Agricultural Graduates and a Farmer’s Market held in
Kimberley. Manopole encouraged graduates to become entrepreneurs,
emphasizing the department's commitment to nurturing the next generation of
agricultural leaders whilst farmers continued marketing their produce in the
area. Furthermore, Manopole emphasized the significance of the programme as it
will further enhance the skills levels of these graduates in creating their own
job opprtunies. This initiative is a partnership between the department and the
commodity organizations. Graduates will have two- year on the job experience across
