Presenting the current year IDP Budget and Tariffs (2023/24 FY) which ends on the 30th of June 2024, the Mayor of the Joe Morolong Local Municipality Leutlwetse- Tshabalala pronounced the construction of Early Childhood Development Centre (ECD) (SLP) in collaboration with Kalagadi Manganese Resources (KMR) over R2Million which will be implemented from June 2024 in Magobing and the Construction of the Clinic worth R3Million yesterday during the current year IDP budget and tariffs meeting for the 2023/2024 financial year which ends on 30 June 2024. According to an official statement by the municipality the mayor at her turn highlighted the achievements of the major capital projects that the Municipality achieved and others which yet to be implemented before the end of this year and is reported to have also mentioned the successful site-hand over of 89 Human Settlement Development units with VIP toilets worth 5Million in Magobing West which was completed in January 2024. The municipality says the implementation of these services and projects will address issues of unemployment, skill development, health services and early child development, therefore building better communities in and around the villages of Ward 14.
