The National Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture (DSAC), in collaboration with the National Department of Basic Education (DBE), is hosting the 2024 Autumn National School Sport Championship in Athletics in Paarl, Western Cape Province. The activities started on Wednesday 3 April and is expected to conclude tomorrow 6 April 2024. According to information, the public will witness another thrilling National School Sport Championship (NSSC) edition, with young athletes from all nine provinces ranging in age from 12 to 19 years old competing for various top honors. The NSSC autumn edition will feature just over 2500 young athletes of various genders, racial backgrounds, and backgrounds competing for top honours over three days. The National School Sport Championships, spearheaded by both the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture and the Department of Basic Education, continue to be an important part of sport development. Today is day two of the Autumn Athletics Schools Sports Championships at Paarl's Dal Josaphat Stadium.
