Learners from three local schools namely, Keidebees  Primary School, Rosendal Intermediate School and Paballelo Primary School in Upington, who are from less fortunate households, yesterday  received school uniform. These donations were made by the MEC responsible for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism in the Northern Cape, Abraham Vosloo. An additional commitment of R100 000 was made to Keidebees Intermediate and Paballelo Primary Schools for the refurbishment of the school kitchen and the 10-year anniversary celebration respectively. Vosloo during his visit said that constant support to primary schools is paramount, to ensure a good foundation is established and can result in the continuation of the improvement in the overall provincial matric results.
