The department of Home Affairs says after the department of home affairs announce that they will open the office on Saturdays and also on the elections day, the 29th of May 2024. An official from the department of Home Affairs in Upington says during the month of April the office of the department of Home Affairs will be opening on the first Saturday, the second Saturday and the third Saturday, which is the 6th, the 13th and the 20th April 2024 from eight o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon. The department says, the office will also be open on Monday and Tuesday, the 27th and the 28th May 2024 from eight o’clock in the morning until seven o’clock in the evening and on Wednesday, the 29th May 2024 from seven o’clock in the morning until nine o’clock in the night for people to collect their ID cards and be able to vote in the upcoming general elections.
