The inquiry into the death of Fransiena Basson will continue at the Upington Magistrate Court on 19 April 2024. This will allow for more expert testimonies to be heard by the court. This will follow expert testimonies delivered to the court on 19 and 20 March 2024. According to information, the court will also allow Thomas Basson, husband of the deceased, to deliver his testimony to the court and to call upon witnesses. Lionel Joseph, brother of the deceased, who has been standing as representative in court on behalf of the family will also be provided the opportunity to deliver a testimony to the court and to call upon witnesses. It is alleged that Fransiena Basson was ran over by her over husband who assumed that it was a dog on 16 Mei 2015.
