The police in Keimoes are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a head-on collision occurred between 2 vehicles causing the death of 5 men on Saturday, the 30th March 2024. Police spokesperson Lieutenant colonel Sergio Kock says the collison which occured between a VW Tiguan and VW Polo occurred on the N14 main road near Keimoes. Kock says the VW Tiguan was carrying 5 South Korean male passengers and was traveling from Kakamas to Upington while the VW polo was carrying 4 locals from kakamas. kock says that 1 korean national who was an occupant in the vw tiguan died on the scene while the other 3 men from the vehicle were transported to hospital for medical treatment. According to information, all 4 male occupants traveling in the VW Polo who are local residents from kakamas died on the scene. kock says investigations in this case continues.
