SA Army Military Skills Development System team visits NC as part of national recruitment drive.

Grade 12 learners at the Xhunkwesa Combined School in Platfontein, located 15 kilometers outside Kimberley, recently received a visit by the SA Army Military Skills Development System team. Learners were sensitized about various career opportunities in the South African Army. According to a report the visit stems from a series of visits over the length and breadth of the country, in the quest to familiarize the youngsters with an array of opportunities which are available in the South African landward force. SA Army Military Skills Development System team also paid a visit to Griekwastad and Campbell communities to engage with youth in the respective communities as part of its recruitment drive. The closing date for applications is 15 March 2024, with successful candidates to report for duty at the beginning of 2025. The MSD System would absorb youth into either the SA Air Force (SAAF), SA Army, SA Military Health Service (SAMHS) or SA Navy (SAN) for two years.
