Provincial Justice cluster role players have been hard at work in a relentless fight to eradicate the scourge of illegal mining, that is currently advancing in the Namaqua in the former diamond mining towns of Kleinzee and Port Nolloth which are closer to the border of South Africa and the neighbouring country of Namibia. NPA regional spokesperson Mr. Mojalefa Senokoatsane says the NPA and police will host a media briefing at the Kleinzee police station on the 13th March 2024. Senokoatsane says the media briefing will be followed by a walkabout at the Kleinzee police 3 and police guided operation at the illegal mining areas at Kleinzee.
