Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam says police commissioner Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola and her management welcomes the 10 year prison sentence handed down by the Philipstown regional court to a 23 year old man Michael Fortuin following the brutal killing of a 55 year old woman in Philipstown on the 5th April 2023. Sam says police found the deceased lying in a pool of blood inside his house after being informed by his wife that her husband was stabbed by the accused.
