The department of Social Development in the Northern Cape is currently engaged in a provincial social behavioral change and life skills camp in Middelpos. The department says in an official statement that this camp is an empowerment, skills development, and career guidance opportunity for young people from different backgrounds. The department says these these young people will also be provided with safety and healthy lifestyles tips as well as leadership and team building. The department says that officials and mentors arrived at the Middelpos Guest Farm on Tuesday afternoon, 27 February as the camp started. The camp is expected to come to an end on Monday the 4th of March 2024. Today the youth will be participating in physical training before starting with the formal programme with Behavioural Change as the theme of the day.
