Minister Noxolo Kiviet, in her capacity as the national DDM champion for the Frances Baard District Municipality conducted an oversight visit to the state-of-the-art Kimberley Academy Primary School in KwaNobantu, Kimberley in the Frances baard district area. The school opened its doors earlier this year on 17 January 2024. The minister conducted this oversight visit in collaboration with the MEC for Cooperative Governance Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Bentley Vass and the Executive Mayor for Frances Baard District Municipality Nondumiso Badu. Babalwa Mzambo Spokesperson in the offices of MEC Vass provides in a statement that their visit was aimed at assessing the educational facilities and engaging with the school administration to ensure quality education delivery Furthermore she says that during their visit discussions were held on ways to improve educational standards, infrastructure development, and support systems for both learners and educators.
