The Army Support Base in Kimberley recently held a welcoming event for new members who joined the unit at the end of 2023. Acting Officer Commanding, Lieutenant Colonel Sabelo Gabela in his address emphasized the importance of teamwork and unity within the Unit. He further encouraged everyone to desire greatness and contribute their best efforts towards the collective success of the Unit. According to Gabela internal cohesion of the Unit is paramount and further extended his gratitude to Units within the Kimberley region that consistently support each other, showcasing the interconnectedness and solidarity that define the military community. Certificates were awarded to members within the unit who have shown exceptional performance and commitment in the year 2023. Gabela further urged members to set their sights on 2024 with emphasis on the need for continuous improvement and dedication to the service of the South African Army.
