Child Prostitution and Child Trafficking Awareness Outreach Programme

The department of justice and constitutional development in the Northern Cape says, as part of the constitutional awareness for human rights month want to raise awareness on human rights focusing on the equality court and LGBTIQ+ community. The Pixley Ka Seme District Office led a GBVF, Child Prostitution and Child Trafficking Awareness Outreach Programme alongside the stakeholders known as Department of Social Development, Department of Health, Department of Justice and the South African Police Services at Hoërskool Theron today, 28 February 2024 in Britstown. The department says the main purpose for this event is to inform and raise awareness on Gender Based Violence and Femicide, Child Prostitution, Teenage Pregnancy, Substance Abuse and Bullying. The Departments calls on residents to use Human Rights Month to foster greater social cohesion, nation-building, and a shared national identity.
