Pofadder regional court convicted Friheinco Titus on the 19 February 2024 and and on Friday 23 February 2024 he was sentenced to 12 years direct imprisonment for murder. Police spokesperson sergeant Molefi Shemane says a 36 year old deceased Pietman Blom and the 40 year old accused Friheinco Titus had an argument about a cellphone on the 12th October 2021 where the suspect allegedly went to the deceased's house in Melkbosrand in Onseepkans and severely assaulted him resulting in his death. The police welcomed the sentence.
