The department of labour in Upington last week announced that services at the local offices are going back to normal today, 26 February 2024. This follows previous communication by the department that the offices will be closed due to maintenance work whereby the department has provided services from the Sandile Present Library for the duration of that time. The department says, the Labour Center will continue to offer its customary services to people who reside outside Upington in addition to its services being available to residents of Upington and the neighbouring districts. In addition the department says, the Upington Department of Employment and Labour is still dedicated to providing effective support and service to the community
