Police urged members of the community to help
police in crime fighting. This after the community engagement yielded positive
results as the platform was utilized by police to raise concerns and possible
solutions for crime in and around the Pixley Ka Seme district this week. These
include the meeting that was held by police with community members in De Aar
yesterday, the 22nd February 2024. Police spokesperson Lieutenant
colonel Sergio Kock says the concerns and issues
raised by the community were responded to by the panellists. Kock
says the deputy provincial commissioner for policing major general Luntu Ngubelanga reiterated that the root causes of crimes
are substance abuse especially emanating from alcohol and drugs in the community
