Police confiscated vehicle valued R1.1 m and R9 500-00

Police arrested a 42 year old male driver in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle and fraud at the Vioolsdrift border post between South Africa and Namibia in the Namakwa district on the 20th February 2024. Police spokesperson brigadier Mashay Gamieldien says police discovered that the driver presented fraudulent documents and after searching the bakkie, they found unprocessed gold with an estimated value of R9 500-00. She says police confiscated vehicle that is valued at R1,1 million. The suspect will soon appear at Springbok magistrates court. Gamieldien says the following...............“Insert” (FRAUDULENT)
