The South African Social Security Agency is currently engaged in a country wide activation/ outreach program through which officials who work in the department are collectively educating beneficiaries on the online application process which is in place for the sake of convenience for beneficiaries who no longer have to stand in long lines for hours at a time just to be helped at the offices. Furthermore this outreaches also educated beneficiaries on kiosk functions, Disability bookings, methods of payment and the COVID-19 Social relief grant. The outreach program was for the Northern Cape conducted yesterday at the Upington Local office in the ZF Mgcawu District.
