Provincial chief financial officer of department of roads and public works Mr. Bradley Slingers

The National Prosecuting Authority, assets forfeiture unit (AFU) in the Northern Cape division has been granted a preservation of property order by the high court sitting in Kimberley. NPA provincial regional spokesperson Mojalefa Senokoatsane says the order is against the Chief Financial Officer of the department of Roads and Public Works Bradley Slingers. Senokoatsane says the preservation order was a result of a joint investigation between the AFU and the office of priority crime specialized investigations unit in Kimberley. The police found cash amounting to over R600 000 from the BMW 6 series vehicle of Slingers when he was stopped during roadblocks on N12 outside Kimberley on the 16th of November 2023.
