The penultimate Northern Cape Derby between Hungry Lion and Upington City FC took place at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium on February 6, 2024. The two team drew the game 1 - 1. Upington City FC thanked their supporters for attending the game. They are playing against University of Pretoria tomorrow, 16 February 2024 at the Tuks stadium in Pretoria. Hungry Lion on the other hand is set to face Venda Football FC on Saturday, 17 February 2024 at the Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium in Upington.  Fans and supporters of Hungry Lion FC are urged to show up in their numbers to show their support for the squad.
