Thabiso Mogorosi , provincial convener in the Northern Cape for Rise Mzansi echoes the parties call for change in the Northern Cape following on the ground work which they have ben conducting over the last couple of weeks in anticipation of the upcoming national and provincial elections. Mogorosi notes that as a party they have been opening new wards in the Northern Cape and in reporting back on that which they have found to be current issues affecting residents in these various areas, he says that they are disheartened by the conditions of areas like Greenpoint, Phutanang and Phelindaba in Frances Baard which are neglected by government and are heavily burdened with social ills… INSERT (Thabiso) Mogorosi says that there is little to no positive feedback from the community on the actual intervention ever conducted by the government and therefore says that  it is each citizens responsibility to make their mark this year to bring about change for themselves and elect leaders who will invest in a better future for them
