A selective group of young people were recently sent off by Premier Dr Zamani Saul and members of the executive council to study maritime engineering at the Vietnam Maritime university. These learners are part of the Northern Cape governments vision in preparation for the catalyst projects as anticipated through the Boegoebaai Port and Rail Harbour in the Namakwa district. The Vietnam Maritime University is one of the pioneering universities in Vietnam that has been involved in international and regional integration. The university is an official member of the international Association of Maritime Universities.
