The Super Eagles reached the Africa Cup of Nations finale after goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali saved 2 penalties in the shootout to guide his side to a 4-2 victory over Bafana Bafana following a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night, the 7th of February 2024. Bafana Bafana supporters in Upington says the team tried their best during that game and congratulated the team for making it that far. Nageria will now face Ivory Coast in the AFCON finale on Sunday 11 February 2024.
