The Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development says it is bringing together backyard farmers today during the Sol Plaatjie Farmers market. Phemelo Manankong, communications officer for the department says that this move seeks to address challenges farmers are facing, thus the platform to market their own products.
