Spokesperson for the South African Police Service in Upington, Sergeant Omphile Masegela, says one person died yesterday in a head-on collision between a Toyota Fortuner and a truck on the N14 road between Upington and Olifantshoek. Masegela says the circumstances surrounding the accident still need to be investigated. She said the driver of the Fortuner, who was traveling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
