The Northern Cape provincial convener of Rise Mzansi Thabiso Mogorosi at his turn reflected on the registration weekend and said the following..............INSERT (Mogorosi 1) The party further added that while they were generally satisfied with the work of the Electoral Commission (IEC), it was clear to them that its ICT infrastructure needs some beefing up to manage increased traffic and perhaps to also address unexpected interest in registering to vote using the Voter Portal and further deplores the isolated incidents of political intolerance which took place over the weekend as well as in the build-up to the weekend. The party calls on the leaders of all political parties to hold their members and supporters accountable and ensure that engagements between parties are collegial.
