The Northern Cape Provincial Legislature have released a statement noting the commencement of its first official preparation meeting for the year 2024. According to the statement by the provincial legislature this meeting Comprised of all chairpersons of the different committees and set the tone for the planning towards the first quarter of this year. The  NCPL says the outcomes of this meeting provide for an intense voter registration campaign led by the Speaker of the Legislature Newrene klaaste which will unfold throughout all districts. Through this program all members of the legislature from all the different political parties have been tasked to embark on a robust programme to encourage residents of the Northern Cape to go out and make their mark, come elections day. The legislature says this will be an a-political campaign, as each party will run its party affiliated campaign independently.
