Some residents of Upington says, police brutality is not something new for them as local officials have been implicated in such in the past. Residents were reacting on the matter of Muzi Sibiya in the Senzo Meyiwa trial who told the court that he was forced to sign a confession statement to save his own life. Residents shared the following views....INSERT (POLLICE MEYIWA)Muzi Sibiya is accused number 1 and continue answering questions under cross-examination at Pretoria high court today. The defense is challenging the admissibility of confession statements allegedly made by Sibiya and accused number 2 Bongani Ntazi. Sibiya is appearing alongside 4 other accused. They have been charged with the murder of the late Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa who was shot and killed in 2014.
