The Northern Cape as a province sent 50 young people to a traffic college in the Free State province to be trained as traffic officers

The Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison says the Northern Cape as a province sent 50 young people to a traffic college in the Free State province to be trained as traffic officers. According to the Department, this is a big accomplishment for them. Spokesperson of the department Renny Andrias says, permission to express special gratitude to all road traffic law enforcement officers (provincial and municipal) and members of the South African Police Service who have worked extremely hard to ensure that the roads are safe has been granted by the Department of Transport, Safety & Liaison. He says the department appreciate the law enforcement officers' commitment to helping the people of the Northern Cape, even when it meant giving up time with their families.
