The department of Home Affairs in the ZF Mgcawu district will extend its working hours from eight o’clock in the morning until six o’clock in the evening from tomorrow from tomorrow 2 February 2024 until Sunday, the 4th February 2024. The office manager of the department of Home Affairs in Upington Patrick Davids says the purpose of the extension of working hours is to give members of the community the opportunity to apply and collect their smart ID cards even after 5pm. Davids says the following . . .    â€œInsert” (HOURS)This weekend, the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) will roll out its last national voter registration campaign in a bid to get eligible South Africans on the voters’ roll for this year's national elections. The department says the extension of working hours is to ensure that all eligible voters have their IDs before the election date.
