The department says, as the two cricketing powerhouses raced to the semi-finals, fans were treated to displays of skill, strategy, and raw talent that exemplified the essence of youth cricket. MEC Desery Fienies stated that the U19 Cricket World Cup in Kimberley not only showcases sporting excellence but also promotes global unity. She says young players from various backgrounds gathered to cross borders and celebrate the spirit of the game.
