The Joe Morolong local municipality is continuing this week with the handing over of service delivery projects and are currently engaged in the handing over of an upgrading project of the closed ground in the Dithakong Village area. According to an official statement by the municipality the Completion of the Close ground will ensure that sports activities in the community are well coordinated, formalised and professionalised to in an effort by the municipality to advocate for the development of sports in villages across its jurisdiction. The municipality provides that this hand over is currently underway in the attendance of Exco members, the Ward 12 Councillor, Municipal Officials, Consultants and the contractor for this project as well community members of the Dithakong Village.
