The South African Police Service says, they attended to a scene on the N8 on Louisvale road where a loading truck caught fire in the afternoon of Saturday, 27 January 2024. Police spokesperson sergeant Omphile Masegela says the driver managed to escape safely and there were no injuries or fatalities reported. Masegela says the cause of fire and the damages are still to be determined.
