The Department of Economic Development and Tourism in the Northern Cape says in partnership with the National Department of Tourism are busy assisting the Dawid Kruiper Municipality with the compilation of a Tourism Development plan for the municipality. According to the department, various bodies within the tourism sector will be provided the platform during a stakeholder consultation meeting to gather inputs on the Draft Tourism Plan that will be presented at this session. This consultation meeting is expected to take place on 06 February 2024 at the Extension Inn hotel, Upington. Attendees from across the tourism, business and hospitality industry are expected to attend and submit inputs to the Draft Tourism Plan.
