The South African Police Service seized 470 rounds of ammunition during random patrols executed in Kimberley today. Police spokesperson Lieutenant colonel Sergio Kock says police were busy with routine safer festive season operations when they spotted 2 suspicious looking men walking in the road at the Samaria informal settlement near the R64 in Kimberley. Kock says the suspects saw the police and allegedly dropped the plastic bag and fled into the informal settlement and escaped through the shanties. He says police seized found 9mm, point 22, 38 special, hollow point, 7,65 normal and green projector rounds inside it.
