Mbulelo Gobo the deputy
secretary general of the student union in the TVET sector in the province spoke
this morning to Radio Riverside about a youth development program called the catalyst
program which is currently taking place in Galeshewe Kimberely. The program is expected to continue for a period of six months to the benefit of all youths in need who
are based in the Kimberley area. Gobo says this program is hosted by Enke: Make Your Mark in collaboration with the Galeshewe youth network organization. Gobo outlines the purpose of this program as serving to address the issue of
youth unemployment on a larger scale and further aiming to particularly prepare
participating youth for the transitioning into opportunities of learning, work

program which currently unfolds only in the Kimberely and De Aar areas but is aimed at being expanded and unfolded across the Northern Cape
