Unicef has launched the 5-week PowerOfPlay campaign right at the inception of the 2024 academic year

Unicef has launched the 5-week PowerOfPlay campaign right at the inception of the 2024 academic year to highlight the importance of play in children’s learning and development, and for family mental wellbeing. The campaign supported by the LEGO Foundation was launched on 16th January 2024 and aims to reach more than 2 million parents across South Africa with the #PowerOfPlay message. Daniel Hartford – Communication for UNICEF South Africa, says that the campaign would be promoted through a series of videos, posters, animations, radio content and on-the-ground activations.....  Insert - Unicef          Hartfort says the campaign focuses on providing information about how play improves child development and shares practical ideas on how to integrate play into family life. He encourages parents to allow their children playtime and to encourage it as it is will assist in their development and mental wellbeing.
