The South African Police Service says they remain committed in the fight against the scourge of gender based violence and femicide by ensuring that justice is served to all the survivors of Gender Based Violence in all districts including ZF Mgcawu. Police spokesperson sergeant Molefi Shemane says police in the Northern Cape decided this after the conclusion of the 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children yesterday, 10th December 2023. Shemane says members of the community are urged to report all women and children abuses to the police. He says police will ensure that all perpetrators get arrested and go to jail.
