The Kimberley Tactical Response Team (TRT) Police arrested a 29 year old Chinese national for the unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition at Kutlwanong, Galeshewe on Thursday, the 7th December 2023. Police spokesperson sergeant Timothy Sam says while conducting crime prevention patrols they spotted a suspicious delivery truck standing at a business establishment in Kutlwanong and decided to approach it. Sam says they requested proof of delivery or invoices of the consignment to verify and execute a routine stop and search. He says police found a bullet proof vest, a black case with a 9mm firearm with 2 magazines, several hollow point 9mm bullets and 9mm bullets in the suspect's car. The suspect will appear at Galeshewe magistrate's court soon in the charge of nlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. Sam says the following . . . "Insert" (AMMUNITION)
