Kimberley police requests the assistance of members of the community in tracing a 37 year old man Stephen Mundari, a Zimbabwean national who can assist with the investigation of a number of vehicle theft cases. Police spokesperson sergeant Timothy Sam says Mundari is believed to be in Cape Town now. Sam says it is alleged that members of the community who sell their vehicles on social media are approached by a suspect from Kimberley to view the vehicles. According to information, a decoy payment is allegedly made to the seller who would hand over the vehicle after receiving a payment notification on their phone.  Sam says anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the  person of interest can contact the nearest police and all information will be treated confidentially.
