The total of 15 673 learners, which includes full and part time learners across the province are at the helm of completing their National Senior Certificate matric examinations with the final date on Wednesday, 06 December 2023.  The NSC was written at 139 public schools, 3 independent centres and 4 district established centres. These matriculants will know their fate on 18 January as the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga will be announcing the matric results on the day followed by the provincial results to be released on 19 January 2024.  Meanwhile, The Class of 2023 from SA van Wyk High School conveyed a word of appreciation to MEC Zolile Monakali, responsible for education in the province for the assistance he provided to the school, to ensure that these Grade 12 learners can complete their 2023 NSC Examinations successfully.
