The MEC of Social Development in the Northern Cape Nontobeko Vilakazi has in collaboration with various other stakeholders engaged in a number of outreach program to the local communities in the Northern Cape and in light of doing so this past Friday conducted an outreach program at the Keimoes combined school in the Kai! Garib Municipal Area. The MEC conducted this outreach in collaboration with SASSA and was accompanied by the ZF Mgcawu Acting District Manager of SASSA Barnard Ukena where they handed out 22 school uniforms to underprivileged learners at the Keimoes Combined School. Meanwhile SASSA in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District in the Northern Cape, in partnership with other stakeholders, conducted an outreach programme where they brought a basket of their services to the community of Loopeng, granting them easier access to the services offered by Sassa.
