The Pixley Ka Seme District hosted the Global Entrepreneurship week between 13 and 17 November 2023 unfolding in various parts of the Northern Cape province. The municipality says in an official statement that this years global entrepreneurship week was held for the purpose of creating partnerships and sharing ideas and information within the business community in the area and also to give those businesses in attendance the opportunity to raise their Concerns and voice the challenges they are faced with in conducting their business. Amongst the towns visited was Colesburg, De Aar, Norvalspont, and Vosburg. The local economic development unit of the municipality says upon conclusion of the activities' they foresee 2024 to be bigger and better as they are planning a meeting in the first week of February 2024 with different stakeholders within the Economic Development framework where all the concerns raised in the week will be tabled to craft a way forward.
