The department of Home Affairs in the ZF Mgcawu district urged members of the community to go and collect their smart ID cards at the offices in Upington. This is in preparation of the upcoming voter registration weekend of the 18th and the 19th of November 2023. Frans Visagie for the department of Home Affairs in Upington says the offices is in possession of a lot of uncollected ID cards. Visagie says the office will be extending operation hours for Saturday and Sunday to give members of the community an opportunity to collect their IDs'......."Insert" (OFFICE)Visagie says they have uncollected IDs of residents residing at Upington town standing at 135, Paballelo 201, Rosedale 208 and Louisvale road with 99 amongst other areas.
